1)       ENTRIES:

CIC*/**=$200  OI/OP= $180 All Others= $165 (all entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee).

USEA and USEF entry fees are not included as part of the entry fee.

Double entries: Accepted $15 fee

Change Fee:  There is a $25 fee for changes of division, horse or rider after CD.

BN Competitors who are not USEA members must pay an extra $25 fee.

Draw checks to Fort Worth Equestrian Foundation or Visa or MasterCard accepted with entry

Refunds: Before CD=less $25 non-refundable office fee, After CD=less $75 office fee.  No refund if withdrawal not received in writing before June 1, 2005

Competition cancellation no refund guaranteed.

Copy of Negative Coggins must accompany entry.  Neg. Coggins within 12 months required.

2)       Tentative Time Schedule:

Thursday: Cross-country opens 3:00PM

Friday: Dressage CIC*/**/OI 3:00PM

Saturday: Dressage all other divisions 8:00AM  Cross-Country 9:00 AM

Sunday: Show Jumping 9:00 AM

3)       Awards:  CIC*/** $1000 prize money, first place trophy and ribbon six places.  All other divisions, first place trophy and ribbon six places.  Return to the stadium arena for awards presentation with horse and riding attire required.

4)       Starting Times:  Will be posted May 28, 2005 at www.fortworthequestrian.com

5)       Stabling:  $100 for stall from Thursday AM through Sunday evening. $35 for extra night. No grounds fee.  Tack stalls $85.  CIC horses will be stabled together.  Initial bedding provided. Extra bedding available.  All stabling is at Trinity Park in temporary tent stalls on dirt.  Loading and unloading is permitted in the stabling area then horse trailers must be parked in the adjacent paved parking area. Veterinarian and farrier to be announced and their numbers listed at the show office.

6)       Accommodations:  Many motels available in the area. Residence Inn-Cultural District, Ramada Inn-MidTown, Fairfield Inn-University, Residence Inn-University and Courtyard-University are close to the horse trials.  If you need help the show manager will give you numbers and assistance.

7)       Directions:  Fort Worth is located at the intersection of I-35W and I-30.  From the North or South on I-35W exit I-30 to the West.  Exit I-30 at University to the North.  On university the third stoplight is Crestline.  Turn right on Crestline and as you begin to go down the hill to Trinity Park look for the horse trials stabling sign on the left.  From the East or West on I-30 exit university to the North.  Balance of the direction are the same.

8)       Dressage:  Test and arena size: CIC**-2005 FEI CIC** Event Test A-Std OI-2002 USEF Intermediated Test D-Std, CIC*-2005 FEI CIC* Event Test A-Std,  OP-2002 USEF Preliminary Test C-Sm, T-2002 USEF Training Test C-Sm, N-2002 USEF Novice Test D-Sm, BN-2002 USEF Novice Test C-Sm,  Arenas, CIC Sand, others grass.

9)       Cross-Country:  CIC**/OI-3200m @550 mpm,  CIC*/OP- 2800m @520 mpm, T-2475m @420 mpm, N-1850m @350 mpm, BN-1650m @350 14 fences at max 2’7”.  All Courses:  Are average for horses and rider with experience at these levels.

10)    Other Information: Cross-country course close date May 28,  Divisions may be further divided if entries warrant, be sure to supply birth date on entry and experience.  Prize list available on request from the show secretary.  Entries can be made through www.evententries.com Leashed dogs allowed, Fort Worth does have a leash law.  Overnight camping in the paved trailer parking area is acceptable.  No hookups are available this year.
